I have not known James prior to giving him the complete roof rebuild. I found him by luck. I saw him build a full roof not far from my house on the way to the daily school run. I saw how he took his time to lay the wood properly and worked tirelessly everyday to make progress. I saw him working in really bad weather and I could see that he was a committed individual.

As the roof got near completion I pulled outside on the way to school and asked him if he could provide me with a quote. Unlike many other builders, he took his time and didn’t rush to my job. He finished his existing work at the build and came to give me a quote.

James’ quote was very similar to some of the top builders in Solihull. The main difference was that the bigger companies used people who looked like outsourced staff, whereas James was exactly what he stated. A very humble person and honest builder.

My original roof was very old and had been repaired almost every year for the last five years. I finally decided to save and get a new roof. I agreed with James to pay 50% upfront and rest on completion. Within a day or two of the payment the material arrived at my property. The scaffolding team was prompt and did not mess about. They were professional and erracted the scaffolding super quick. James then called to let me know when he would be starting and he kept to his word.

During the build there were several days of extensive rain in Solihull. Everyday James took note of the weather and kept me informed. I was amazed how well organized he was. He had some help on some days and some days he was by himself. His work was very fast.

I have a very big roof and the entire roof was stripped as if it was a small shed. James really is very good at his work and very fast. I had agreed with James to make my roof look the same as the one I saw on my way to school. That is exactly what he did. James is an extremely hard working and honest person. He did not charge me a penny more than what was agreed. He delivers the work as fast as possible. I would highly recommend James. This is why I am including my number to this review.
